Configuring public key authentication with Bitvise SSH Client. The client from which you are connecting needs to have a public/private keypair. To generate a keypair using Bitvise SSH Client, run the graphical SSH Client, and open the Client key manager. For help with importing the public key into Bitvise SSH Server. It also sounds like you also might have already managed to log in using the default account and are now trying to set up a new user with SSH access and key based auth. If this is the case then you need to create the key pair on your own machine, then generate the public key and put the public key on to the server.
[ aws . iam ]
Description¶
Retrieves the specified SSH public key, including metadata about the key.
The SSH public key retrieved by this operation is used only for authenticating the associated IAM user to an AWS CodeCommit repository. For more information about using SSH keys to authenticate to an AWS CodeCommit repository, see Set up AWS CodeCommit for SSH Connections in the AWS CodeCommit User Guide .

--encoding (string)
Specifies the public key encoding format to use in the response. To retrieve the public key in ssh-rsa format, use SSH . To retrieve the public key in PEM format, use PEM .
Possible values:
--cli-input-json (string)Performs service operation based on the JSON string provided. The JSON string follows the format provided by --generate-cli-skeleton. If other arguments are provided on the command line, the CLI values will override the JSON-provided values. It is not possible to pass arbitrary binary values using a JSON-provided value as the string will be taken literally.
--generate-cli-skeleton (string)Prints a JSON skeleton to standard output without sending an API request. If provided with no value or the value input, prints a sample input JSON that can be used as an argument for --cli-input-json. If provided with the value output, it validates the command inputs and returns a sample output JSON for that command.
See 'aws help' for descriptions of global parameters.
